Relativity and FTI Consulting released new findings from the seventh annual General Counsel Report, revealing that legal leaders worldwide are facing rising complexity, regulatory pressure, and operational demands. According to the study, 97% of general counsel reported increased work volume across key legal functions, while 60% said legal risk and operational demands have grown more complex in the past year.
The report also highlights the growing role of AI in legal operations. Nearly 40% of surveyed legal leaders reported incorporating artificial intelligence into their strategy for managing increased workload and risk, reflecting a notable rise in adoption. At the same time, regulatory activity, disputes, and data breaches continue to drive legal costs and investigations, underscoring the need for advanced legal technology platforms like RelativityOne to help organizations manage expanding data volumes and compliance requirements.
